Electrician Safety at WDE. A years of Company safety meeting for employee weekly meetings and other Safety advisories
Hard Hat policy
Large electrical Construction company’s who simply require any basic hardhat are putting on a Dog and Pony Show (in my humble opinion) . When hard hats are required at WDE a type 2 climbing type hard hat built with electricians in mind ,must be used for obvious reasons. Lets Discuss the Differences .
Key benefits of Type 2 hard hats:
- .Type 2 hard hats are designed to absorb and deflect impacts from the side, reducing the risk of serious head injuries from lateral impacts.
- .By providing protection against a wider range of impacts, Type 2 hard hats can help reduce the number and severity of head injuries in the workplace.
- Many Type 2 hard hats are designed with better fit and ventilation, encouraging workers to wear them consistently and for longer periods.
- Some industries and workplaces require or recommend the use of Type 2 hard hats due to their enhanced safety features.
- While Type 2 hard hats may have a higher initial cost, the reduction in injury rates and increased worker satisfaction can lead to long-term cost savings.
